This gives us an opportunity to talk on the phone, and make a decision about whether you feel we are a good fit, and you would like to proceed with an appointment. Before your free introductory call, it may be helpful for you to read the frequently asked questions here, as this will give you lots of additional information before we talk.
There is no obligation for you to enter into therapy - what is important, is that you feel comfortable with me, or the therapist of your choice. There are some things to consider before you decide on the best therapist for you. Some of the questions to ask of yourself, and the therapist are:
Do you feel the therapist is trustworthy and likeable?
Is the therapist able to support you with the difficulties you are experiencing? Do they have specific areas of expertise?
Does the therapist have the availability and fee structure which works for you?
What is the therapists general approach?
